There is an entire thread dedicated to why Visual Basic is disliked. I will link it for you.
Also I don't feel the need to give Visual BASIC any respect becuase it is a ****ty language. And it's not like I've never coded in BASIC either. The BASIC syntax is old and outdated and BASIC has been superceded by various other languages. I really don't want to get into why it is a crap language as this is all well documented.

Okay let me explain this further.... C++ and C both use classes. However, C++ also has classes which can contain functions and variables, which allow for inheritance and better organization. So basically classes can act as a grouping of variables and functions that mape up the same object. However classes are not necasary. As structures will give you some of this functionality, with variables.

Yeah this is kind of an amendment to my early post. C++ and C both don't use classes, I meant to say that C++ and C both use structures.
