    Arrow Computer Software Implementation Issue

I'm interested in different opinions. What do you think, which computer software implementation of the computer programming language Scheme is better and which not and why do you think that way?

I've never even heard of Scheme!

Xav, honestly, when did you last wrote comments, share opinions, knowledge or something similar that were diplomatically said useful or powerful? Please, if you have a good knowledge on things share your opinion (there are a lot of people that I know and respect in our community), but please don't write irrelevant opinions. Almost 60% of opinions per day in our digital community are from you, dude. We can contract two possible things from that. This can be great, because you're helping and sharing knowledge and opinions, or it can be crap, because you're providing nothing.

However, you shouldn't missunderstand this, you know that this is just a nice proposal.

    Re: Computer Software Implementation Issue

I've only been doing Scheme programming on Windows, and it's some time ago. I liked PLT Scheme, and together with DrScheme it was nice for a beginner, which I was (and still am). MIT/GNU Scheme should be the best implementation for Unices and Linuces, or at least I've heard so. I'm planning to check it out myself in the near future, but let me know what you think about it, if you're going to give it a try?

    Re: Computer Software Implementation Issue

Yes, I heard a lot about the "PLT Scheme" computer software implementation of the computer programming language Scheme. You're probably right about the "MIT/GNU Scheme" software implementation. Well, I'm currently working in the fields of artificial intelligence in computer science and thought to try another concept for problem solving, not just the computer programming language Assembly or C\C++, but more or less concepts that were actually developed for such a problem solving.

I thank you for your opinion and comment.

By the way, what do you think about the computer programming language NewLISP?

Well, I've heard about it, but I've never really checked it out. I'm pretty new to Lisp myself. I used to spent some time programming in Lisp before, but I haven't used it for a while. Actually, I just picked it up again, because of this thread. I'd forgotten all about it, but I think it's time to get started again.

I do try and be useful! I think it's a bit unfair - if I don't know what Scheme is, I have a right to be informed about it, don't I?

Well, I don't think that the constitution or a law says that it is your right, but sure you can ask. I however didn't mean it that way. I actually meant comments that are more or less completely unnecessary. I don't mean exactly this opinions and so on, but in general. It is alright, you're young and full with energy, but try to cool a little bit down. Think a little bit and provide the right material at the right time.

    Re: Computer Software Implementation Issue

No, unfortunately not. My school holidays will start in June, after the final exams (starting in May).
