Default What linux programs do you use?
Music: Amarok
Programming: KDevelop or ViM
IM: Gaim
Browser: Firefox
Torrent: KTorrent(Azureus eats up too much)
Terminal: KTorrent
FTP: Kasablanca
Video: MPlayer

Pretty standard for the most part. I just got this computer built and a fresh install of SUSE 10.1 on it.

What programs do you find to be most efficient for what you're doing?

I use Gaim, Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird, Dia, and others... in Windows.

Programming: KDevelop , sometimes gedit for a quick fix
IM: Gaim
Browser: Konquerer
Torrent: BitTorrent
Terminal: cant remember what its called
FTP: konquerer
Video: MPlayer , sometimes xine( for bloody wma codecs )
