    TTCN3, The testing language

    Hey folks

    Anyone has used this language?
It's for testing and it's geared toward networking.
The company I work with has decided to use it instead of Java for testing.
But I find that this language is a step back to 1965 because it has no classes, almost no libraries, the syntax is like C's, it takes ages to compile and on the side, there are no (working) refactoring/visual tools to aid development. Basically, programmers seem 10 times less productive and they end up writing ugly code.

Has anyone had good experience with this language?

I haven't used it, but from what I read of it is one of the crappiest language I ever heard of. If your company will drop Java for this crap they must be crazy.
