Of course it does... we don't live in a vacuum... But your right... Brainf*ck does appear to be "challenging"... about as challenging as jumping of a bridge and landing on your feet... just about as pointless too... jmo...

Versatility is a tough one to define... but for all intensive purposes... php is an extremely versatile language... especially in todays online business marketplace... is there any other marketplace that matters? I agree about brainf*ck... it looks challenging... but it really doesn't have any practical use nor do I think learning it would translate to any improvement of knowledge or skill in any other area... that's all... it looks fun though... but so is jumping off a bridge and trying to land on your feet...( you'll probably only do it once ) |

What are you talking about, brainf*ck can definitely increase one's logic skills.
LOL ALSO YOU DEFENDED MY POINT. You are saying that the way that the Hummer was engineered makes it more versatile, that's exactly what I said. I said the way a language is/developed defines it's versatility. Lol give it up. Versatility is obviously defined by how something is created. Don't believe me here is the definition. Quote:

... Wow, I really have no answer for a comment as ignorant as that. Maybe you should get out of your tiny world sometimes and realize that your beloved php is only good for server-side applications. For any other purpose I could name a much better one, C or C++ or Python or Perl or Lisp or Javascript or XHTML. The online business marketplace is just one tiny niche compared to the hundreds of applications that languages like C++ or Python are suitable and are actually used for. Don't be so bigheaded. |
