Default Just wondering what you think

I am sorry if you get this asked alot.

I have always been interested in doing some form of coding and was wondering what you think of certain forms of coding or programing.

Over the next year i have been thinking about learning a form of programming and all im asking is pretty much, are certain forms going out of date?, which ones are the most interesting?,

I know basic html and have some pretty good Photoshop skills of that helps any.

I was thinking along the lines of
Java
Javascript
C++
CSS

I ask because i am currently stumped of what i want to do in the future besides surf. So i figured i might take on a project of my own over the next year or so.

Any help is greatly apprecieted

Sorry for my umm..... "noobness"

If you know and like developing HTML you should learn CSS, Javascript, PHP and then AJAX. This will give you the ground-work for harder languages like C++ and Java. However, there is no right or wrong here. If you want to develop webpages learn web development languages, if you want to develop desktop applications learn languages like Java or C++.

Moved to correct forum.
