Thread: Help? |
Well, I made a program and I'd like to make my friend a simpler version of it. but I lost the source code
Is there any way I can get it back w/o completely redoing it? Maybe a Decompiler? Help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Also if you hadn't noticed i'm new. I originally had the username SciTE but I forgot the email pword. D:
Also I havent been programming for too long, and I'm still learning.
I'm more interested in HTML now![]()

Might the source code be in the same folder as the program? (at least that is the case with my programs)
As far as decompilers go I'm not sure how many there are, or if they even work. I would check this website, this one, and here for java. It probably depends on what language your program is made in
Hope I was able to help![]()

Decompilers tend to decompile to assembly, if the original language was C or C++. It all depends on the original language, though.
