Okay pretty self-explanatory, just say how or why you started programming. I started because I was trying to solve systems of equations with a computer so that I could check my work for math class

My dad was a programmer, so I was always curious about it, and took a class as soon as I could. QuickBasic... I have fond memories of that sorry language.
I was playing an online game, and wanted a forum. I wanted a feature for the site that was not available as a plug-in, I decided to create it myself. That got me hooked and I have been loving the career change since. I use to be a mechanic, I could fix everything from boats to jets. Programming was my hobby that became my new career. It all started with a forum and an online game... SOF2 was awesome. lol
Hacking..
Someone hacking computers and shutting down systems using worm viruses was all very attractive to me when I was a 14 year old teenager lol.
Also playing hacking games (uplink on PC) and taking part in hackthissite.org challenges made it all the more fun.
But I stopped that when I was 17 and started to learn web development langauges instead (PHP mainly), now I'm learning C#
I've always been interested in PHP - But havent gotten the time to learn it because I think if I tried I never will - Who knows
