Default Futuristic Languages?

What do you think that fururistic programming languages will be? Do you think that they will be more Object Oriented or like pseudocode?

With the current trend I imagine that it will get even easier to create code and less powerful. People want RADs now instead of power.

They'll be more visual. I think that WYSIWYG programming editors are going to be very common one day... that'll be a sad day.

I agree. If MS keeps it up all of their languages will be one and others will follow suite. Very sad..

I think it's good. No, it's bad! Then too many people will be programming, and people might forget the old, good languages.

I've always wanted to use an Internet cafe but I've never had the chance. Well, I did once, but didn't have the time. Well, I had the time, but I didn't have the money. No, I had the money, but when I went in they closed.

It will definately go more graphical. More will be able to program, but the main grunt work will always be in the code itself.

I agree. It will get easier and more graphical but with the lose of power. There will always be the "Code" behind the graphics that the more advanced users will know how to manipulate.
