I convert data from one format to another (kind of like what XML is intended for). I take EDI data and convert it to the SAP ERP IDOC format which looks like this:

Sales orders. Our customers buy parts with these electronic documents and tell us how much to ship and when. Is it also how we charge them and receive payment. You may not know it but a lot of major companies use it and most banks.
