I found a game called Real Time Battle (runs under Linux, Mac, or Windows via Cygwin) that looks like it might be fun. You build a robot and code asssembly-like instructions to operate the components in it. We could post bots and have them compete in a variety of modes. I was able to download the latest version via synaptic (for the Linux junkies out there). Any takers?
Actually, that description goes with Droid Battles, but either one looks like funDroid Battles has an alpha Windows version. As a side note: Droid Battles is written using QT, Real Time Battle is written using GTK+, for those keeping score

Now this looks like a lot of fun! What time frame are we looking at competing by?
It depends on whether anyone is interested. Real Time Battle has several options for tournaments. I haven't played with them much myself, so I'm open to feedback on which looks more fun, etc.
I intend on getting to tomorrow while at work and am willing to compete. I'm sure amrosama will compete. Perhaps this could be our next coder battle?
