It is not obvious to me what the best way to store program setting is. I have a small app that functions as an alarm clock, which doesnt require a whole of saved configuration, but it does require some. I understand ini files are a good way to do this, but I have not been able to find clear example online. The one I found is not explained fully. ASPN : Python Cookbook : Use good old INI files for configuration
This app would be run under linux, so is gconf a wise choice?
