Forgive my intrusion I feel a bit out of place here as I really know very little about programming, but that is why I am here in the first place...
Anyways to the point. I am currently looking for an API that has aggregated information on Universities and Colleges in the United States. Names, addresses, class schedules, majors offered, tags, etc. Anything like that. I have been searching for weeks but really have no idea where to search at all. Finally I decided to look for a programming forum and ask its members. And so here I am. Can anybody help me with anything? Point me in a direction? Or know a specific API that I could use? Any help would be GREAT! Thank you. -Geoff |

That will be tricky, since every college presents that information differently, if at all. I know some colleges that refuse to publish their class schedules or course offerings.
Google's API may be your best bet.

Basically, or at least some of the aformentioned ones. That is if such a thing even exists, which I do not know for a fact if it does.
Anything that can supply my website with data on a lot, if not most, colleges and universities in the U.S. would be great. Preferably if they updated it as well from time to time. I understand that some colleges refuse to publish certain areas of what they offer (it can be quite frustrating at times) hopefully we do not encounter to many of them and are able to manually input that information ourselves. P.S. Where can I find more information on Google's API? |

From Google.
