Today I was moving a file from a network server to my local machine. I got the screenshot in this attachment. I'm confused, does "yes" mean move or copy?

I think it means move. The same dialog is shown for both move and copy operations, so the Microsoft coding factory were too high to bother with multiple messages.

It makes sense to me. It's asking you if you want to do either of the actions. Are you going to want to move or copy? Is what it's saying. If you want to do one or both of those actions, then click yes. Otherwise click no.

In programming it would be like saying this.

Code:

if ((x == 10) || (y == 10)) {
   do_****();
}

If you want to do one of those things, click yes.

Yes, it makes sense. It asks you if you want to copy or move [both options] files from that server.

Yes, I understood that before I posted but this post is just a funny post. Also, the operation was a "copy" operation, not a move. When you move the file it doesn't ask that question.

If you understood why it prompted you with that dialog. I don't see how it is funny then?
