How do I make (files/folders) hidden option password protected? (WinXP)

I'm not sure which forum to post this, but I think this is the closest one. No, I'm not talking about how to make each files/folders password protected. I mean the "hidden" feature in the "folder options" menu. Is there a way, or a software, that let you create password when you want to check that option back to "show hidden files and folder?"

The main reason is that I have hidden files/folders all over the place, so I want to make a password system for just one time to enable/disable their visibilities instead of doing it for each and every file/folder.

I don't believe such a software exists. You could use a group policy for your computer which make it so that this option could not be disabled but I can't think of any way to actually have a password dialog pop-up before a user could change this option.

To say the truth I have to agree with Acheron, something as complex as this has to be tailor made not off the shelf software.
