Default Largest file or directory

Is there a way in native Windows XP to determine the largest file and/or directory? There doesn't seem to be an obvious way right now.

Well In a certain directory you can sort the icons by size... and on the whole HD I think you have to download a 3rd party software.

Why don't you tell the name of the software?

Yeah I did a search too and found this:

Largest Files Finder - find the top 100 largest files

But Lop wanted an Xp native way of doing that, which I think is not possible.

sorry,I try not to recommend appz that i have never used but what i got is the same as the one posted.

anyway, from the windows platform i know of no way but the closest i can get is by windows search and i am not even sure if that works.

If you go to advanced options there is one that says Size, you select different sizes fr experimenting and you leave the search bar blank.
If my guess is right this will display all the files of a HD that fit the size...I guess
