    MSN Blocked?

    At school it seems like they blocked MSN.. we are only able to access it via a web version, something like iloveim.com or the official web messenger.. IMO they both are not good. I tried the portable version of pidgin and the portable version of aMSN and they both didn't work. You think they blocked the ports? Is there a workaround?

    Yes, there is a workaround. Set your instant messenger to use the http port, port 80. No firewall blocks that port

    How can I do that with pidgin?

    No I haven't tried meebo.com .. I don't like online (web version) messengers much.
