Is Linux easy to work ??

Is Linux a easy operating system then Windows XP to work with ??? I am using Windows XP for quite a long time and now I want to use Linux. Is it a good idea to use Linux as i have never worked with it.

Some Linux distros are harder to handle, than others. But many distros are exactly as easy as Windows XP, or even easier. It's all about taste, and what you want to do.
