I've got a machine running at home and a machine running in my office. I'd like to take a backup of my office machine and restore it into a vmware session at home so that I still have everything I need. Anyone ever done this before or have an ideas on how to go about doing this?

One thing that I want to point out is the hardware will change inside of your vmware image so you may be unable to boot from a restore of a computer to a vmware image. I'm not sure though since I have never done this.
Can you directly convert a Ghost Image to vmware image or do you have to do a restore with the Ghost Image?
