    Exclamation API Problem

On system start up Windows Xp does all that it normally does then a sudden pop up " Lsass.exe" with the title and then " Windows doesn't have enough System Resources to start(or something similar..?) the API" then it restarts then i press F8 to try it in safe mode... same thing pops up... Nothing major has really happened on it , except trying to download Ubuntu . iso on a cd but i stopped it cause it was making the laptop too slow and thats about it...
so any suggestions? oh and it windows XP SP2 home edition....

true... however aside from getting a new os and wiping the old one off the the laptop..which im not allowed to do, there's not much since every option from using F8 says "cannot complete API" so i'm pretty much stuck to a corner

eh? i'm somewhat confused... since i don't know much about computers themselves this seems a little befuddling.basically iu should put it on a cd, or in my case a usb, and then plug it in then turn on the computer?
