I thought vista software was supose to work on 7?

Am I crazy or was all products that were made for vista suppose to work on 7? I have been trying to play my games from activision (games made for vista). I thought maybe I had done something wrong but after the fourth game i installed did not work I went to http://activision.custhelp.com/cgi-b...nduser/srl.php to see if maybe it was a problem with my hardware even thou it had ran them all when I had vista. Every one of the games i checked failed the test because they don't work on windows 7! I would have just stayed with vista if I had known my games would not work

7 was an xmas present that I begged for so I would not send it back if I could, I was just angry. I probably would have gotten 7 either way it went but Microsoft said programs made for vista would work so it just peeves me off that they don't. I went threw this when going from XP to vista, but I knew then that none of my games would work so it did not upset me. It's like buying a movie that is suppose to come with a promo poster and then it doesn't, do you really care about the poster? no of course not, but you were promised the poster and you did not get it so it makes you mad. Don't know why I made this thread I was just ranting. It's not Microsoft's fought its the game companies.

thats balls, I hate all the current companies. Microsoft sucks but has a good product, apple sucks a lot more and loves to steal your money, has better customer feedback because its a much smaller community, and only cares about money. The linux community is kickass but at the same time absolutely everything is unstable, and any other operating systems are not widely used enough.
Intel let getting the upper hand on AMD get to their head, AMD accepted a bribe from them to keep their mouths shut, nVidia is being hated by all the other companies, and is soon to be shut out if intel is successful with their graphics market, since they can make it proprietary and it would either be an amd/ati system or an intel/intel system.
Dell bought alienware which is now overpriced, ASUS kicks ass, apple again is just trying to suck in your money, and there are rumours about x86_128 which would be completely retarded considering x64 hasn't even taken on its full potential and there arent even 128 bit intel processors yet.

Well, try to set Win 7 in compability mode for the games and see if that works?
