    DivX Codec for WMP

Hi I have some videos and their codec is DivX and they won't open with Windows Media Player, a few weeks ago they used to open but now they won't! I searched for DivX Codec and all it says is to download the bundle and I already have that, and I have the latest version too! Why don't they open on WMP? are there any settings I should use? but remember they USED TO OPEN! and I didn't modify the settings. so any help? thanks!

I like to use VLC. I've never had an codec error with it.

Thanks for the link, but I kinda fancy WMP. It's one of the few Microsoft Products I like

Why not give a try removing completely and then re-installing. (if you can remove registry entries also)

    Read this http://forum.codecall.net/technology...html#post13045

and you will know I un-installed it, well removing or not removing registries will not make any difference, I suppose.
