Windows XP install blank screen

Say whooooooot.. goddayum I spend 1h of my life waiting for my Windows XP Pro SP3..and and.. aaaah now I can't install it..

When I reboot my PC, then there appears "Press any key to boot from a DVD.." well.. I was searching for that any key ya kno.. and I thought I'll press ENTER.. okaay I did it.. and then it said that SOmething is inspecting my system config.. I thought aight.. but then that message disappeared and I got a blank screen.. and my cd drive stopped spinning.. How gay that can be..

Anyway.. some things about my PC:

Motherboard:
ASUS P5LD2-X (1333)

Graphics:
NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT 512MB

Processors:
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.20GHz
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.20GHz

RAM:
Kingston DDR2 667 2x1GB

HDD:
320GB 7200rpm 8MB SATA2 + 320GB outter HDD with USB connection

Sound:
5.1 integrated

I also checked from my motherboard supports Windows XP SP2 + this means Windows XP Pro SP3 should work..

I don't like Windows 7 anymore.. because I can't play GTA IV :/

So please help me.. I really wanna play that **** game already

I don't know.. All Windows XP pro install CD.s that I have tried do the same thing.. I don't understand why :/

One thing I know is that, Windows XP SP3 does not support S-ATA drives...
So, try to go into bios and run in a semi IDE hdd environment, the option would be HDD preferences -> ACHI or Compability mode...(That's what I have in my bios).
I couldn't run ACHI mode with WinXP, however WinVista and Win7 plus linux runs fine with ACHI on.
So that's what I think :x

Dude... do you even know what your computers BIOS is? Have you tried compatibility mode with Windows 7?

Yes I tried.. but still I would like to change from 7 to Vista Ultimate (mmmmmmmm..ultimate) or to a XP SP3 or something..

That's not entirely true cause I got a black background .

No but if you want Vista Ultimate why don't you try to install that directly? without XP cause Vista does have SATA support(as far as I know) nsd about your BIOS I wouldn't try to mess in it without knowing that is it it could be dangerous.
But you can enter it with an F button mostly(like F11, F2, F8)
