    Virtualbox WinXP - NIC trouble...

Okay, I am turning my head to you guys now.
It seems like I can't run VirtualBox in my old laptop correct, the laptop is running windows XP SP3 legit version.

So the trouble is, the virtual nic by virtualbox does not get connection to the net...
I see a little icon with the comment...
    VirtualBox Host-Only Network
    Speed:100Mbps
    Status:Limited or no connectivity

This sucks bollocks and I don't like it. Currently using 2.2.0, and viewing that most people had the same trouble but seems to be able to do a workaround, best part with it they do not share the help...
Why making an update that only results to failure?

So I am asking is there anyone in C.C, that might be in better knowledge with WinXP SP3 and Virtualbox 2.2.0; possible helping out a needed?

    Thanks for hearing out !

Sorry, never used Virtualbox at all. Could your router be blocking it, somehow? What options do you have for your network? In vmWare you have 3 bridge, NAT and something else (can't remember).
