Yeah from what I can tell my flash is not working correctly at all. I can play YouTube videos on YouTube, but I can't see them embedded on peoples profile pages on social networking sites (use bebo).
Another example I found, this site: hairfinder.com/hair_imaging.htm (can't post links yet) . Instead of seeing any of the application that should be on this page as most of you will see, I just see a link saying "get this" which links me to the download page for adobe flash player 10. It works fine when I use safari, so I'm assuming its a problem with firefox, probably something I did myself when messing about with files or something. Anyone got any ideas?
Have you tried uninstalling (or deleting on Mac) FF and reinstalling? This could fix your problem.

I genuinely don't know how but that didn't work. I've had nothing but problems with Firefox 3 since downloading it the first time, its pretty bad tbh...
I've ditched Firefox and decided to try Opera and quite like it... plus everythings working on it. Still have no idea whats causing FF to fail though...
It may be an issue with Flash support for FF3 on Mac, rather than an issue with FF3 itself. Flash has only recently started behaving reliably for FF on Linux.
I dunno, its been working flawlessly up until today... I think I tried to update it or something yesterday, can't remember. Maybe I'd been running Flash 9 up until that point or something? No idea, its annoying when this kinda thing happens lol
I noticed yesterday on my Hac (my Mac running on a Dell) that Flash kept asking for a local debugger every time I visited a page. I turned the computer off and didn't think anything of it. Is this the same problem you are having?
