As long as it supports Windows Vista's requirements, then it would be fine. Programmers (application-programmers) don't need some very good specifications for their computer, they just need a computer which can handle the operating system. And as a .NET-programmer, I suppose you're working on the Windows-platform.

You could use another operating system as well, I just thought you wanted the newest version of Windows, so Windows Vista.

Everything looks fine but I would upgrade the RAM to 4GB and I'm a little confused here:

    287MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150

287MB? That is an odd number, is this shared memory? If so don't do it. Your HD RPM speed is very poor.

    (2x 120.0GB 5400RPM HDD)

5400 is as low as you can go. Get 7200 or, if possible, 10,000 RPM. You will notice a difference.

I must agree with Jordan 5400RPM is quite low. But besides that I think it's a super computer for non-gamers.
