Re: PC turning itself off

Were you the one that had their electrical hit with the lightning?

Re: PC turning itself off

Check the fans see if they are working, boot into the BIOS and itll tell you the temp of some things - if they are pretty high then you might wanna replace those.

I am pretty sure if it damaged anything with electricity it would be the power thing though.. I think its suppose to absorb it.. you might wanna try and replace it out and see if it works.

Do you have spare parts for testing? lol

Re: PC turning itself off

I am also thinking this might be caused by overheating. You should check the temperature while you are using it and see if it is slowly rising.

Well according to google

I am pretty sure 138 is a bit hot. But you have two working fans so I am not very sure. If you have spare parts just start switching things out until it starts working fine lol.

Re: PC turning itself off

59C doesn't seem that hot, IMO. 45C for your CPU seems fine also, if not a bit low. You can consult this page/chart (about middle of page) to see what your max temp is: What is my Computers Maximum CPU Temperature? | Technibble

When this happens, is your computer shutting off or just the monitors? Does your computer still have power? It could be a bad video card if so.
