A few weeks ago I posted saying that my computer was blue screening. I set it back to factory settings like every one recomended and it fixed the blue screen I was getting at the time. As soon as i turned on my computer after that it blue screened saying somthing about a usb driver. I changed the usb that mymouse and key board was in and it stopped. Now I am getting a blue screen that says IRQL Not Less or Equal. I did a yahoo search and all I could fined out was it most likely has somthing to do with my hard ware. It blue screens at random and is so bad today that I had to move to my laptop.
Any Ideas?
i think its releated to the harddisk, happens when I/O read error occurs, also it might be a driver issue.
try using the computer in safemode and see if the BSOD happens again, if it did then its a hardware error for sure, if not then its a driver.
checkout the system log for errors and it will show you details
yo homie i heard you like one-line codes so i put a one line code that evals a decrypted one line code that prints "i love one line codes"
www.amrosama.com | the unholy methods of javascriptCode:eval(base64_decode("cHJpbnQgJ2kgbG92ZSBvbmUtbGluZSBjb2Rlcyc7"));
This is not a hardware problem nor is it I/O error related as amr suggested - this is a driver issue, if you can give more of the Blue Screen error we can help you more, however the best I can suggest is to go into Device Manager and find any with an exclamation mark and fix anything there. Besides the keyboard and mouse - do you have anything else plugged into your usb ports?

Yes I also have an external hard drive and a draw pad pluged in via USB. I am preparing for work right now but I wil try this stuff when i wake up tomorow evening.
I know there is a way to "pause" the blue screen so i can write down all the information that is on it but i do not know how to set it up to do it.
I'm using Windows 7, but it should be the same for Windows Vista and I think its roughly the same for XP.
Go to the start menu, right click Computer, click Properties, when the dialog comes up click on Advanced system settings, click Settings under Startup and Recovery, under System Failure untick "Automatically restart".

I have two with ! next to them. They are:
Consumer IR Devices
ehome inferead reciever (USBCIR) - this is my mouse and keyboard.
I tried to updae drivers for each and it said that my drivers were already up to date. I also tried check for a solution and it did not find any.
I have set it to stop when it blue screens I will have to check it in a few moments I had to go into safe mode just to do any of this.
sory for double posting:
the blue screen says this:
***Stop: 0X0000000A ( 0X3F3F3F3F, 0X0000001B, 0X00000001, 0X81EFFC1F)
______
It has never caused problems before but I should also note that when I turn it on it has two popups come up.
the procedure entry point apsApply could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll
&
the procedure entry point apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll
___________
The two popups never cause a problem in the year or so that I have had this computer but i thought i would post it just to be safe.
If you have a wireless card, either turn it off, or if its already off (or doesn't have an off switch) disable it in the Device Manager. Also use msconfig and stop any programs from starting up that may have something to do with your wireless connection.
