I think you should post in software section, since it's a WinXP problem, either you have run a stupid optimizer that claims to give you performance, which in that process deleted ntldr(The correct thing not what you stated), also the ntldr is essentially for booting winbloat XP.
For greater justice, you should install linux if you want to prevent these stupid faults or become a better Winbloat user.
turk4n - linux can suffer from a similar problem. just go delete grub and see whether it boots. also grub isn't very descriptive in its errors - you have to learn the error code and what it is for.

People do not randomly delete things, however within windows there are applications that do it without your observation, also run this one for me
