If, I have an old HDD somewhere in my "old computer bin". I know that it makes a somewhat clicking sound inside, the question is; have air slipped in or is the headreader broken in any way?
What do you guys think?
That tends to happen when the armature for the read/write head starts hitting something (like the side of the case). It usually means its days are numbered.
Well... my computer HDD did that after a couple years... and know what? It just went bad after a few months... had to replace it because files were becoming corrupted.
