Ram question !

I have a question, I am using a laptop and it has an integrated graphic card the build in memory is 8mb however it expands to 224mb and uses the ram. My question is, will a faster RAM equal to a faster "game" play?
My current rams speed is at 333Mhz and size 2x%512Mb...

Was just wondering if I upgrade my slower ram with a faster ones, will game and video and work bout be faster.
