    CodeCall Cross-Platform IDE

Recently there seemed to be some interest in creating a Cross Platform IDE with potentially a form editor. I thought it sounded like a pretty cool project so I put together a GUI class for what I thought the interface could look like. Dargueta also designed a logo for the project so I will also post that.

I designed the class with QT, however there is currently one bug in it. When the buttons are clicked to switch between the form editor tabs and project files tabs the tabs don't switch. So that needs to be worked out. I would post the concept art that I did in paint, but the files are too big so I may work on that later or something.

Any suggestions at all, feedback, or interest should be posted in this topic. Then hopefully we can get an actual project going. I thought I would just put this together to see if people were actually interested.

Also as far as the code goes I just put it together quickly, and it might be kind of sloppy right now because I was trying to change stuff in order to get the window to repaint itself. However I haven't gotten it right so I haven't went back to fix up stuff.

The code is in the attachment and right now it is compiled for linux. In order to compile under linux or windows you will need to download QT4.

Oh I almost forgot a menu bar still needs to be implemented, I left ample space to do it at the top of the interface.

I like the idea and have some ideas for this. The screenshot looks nice so far. You used QT to design this, as in QT designer or just QT library?

Sounds like this is going to be a great project once I get involved. Can you format the initial post/thread to the community project standards?
