A open source software group

I have a idea for a open source software group.The main reason I have been thinking of this is because a lot of people have no problems with non free software in a political or moral sense ,but think that open source software has huge advantages for everyone.In short a more BSD styled group instead of GNU views on software.

So what do you think?

Sounds like a good idea - the last one we had on here was cancelled because an existing open source license already existed that was extremely similar to what was drafted. You might want to check those first. If you still want to create it I am willing to help.
