Wink Italian translation

Hi!
I'm downloaded ionFiles today because I'm fashinated by simplicity of the component.

I noticed there are not any italian translation, so I've made it for me and I post it for you now. Follow the attachment.

I tried to download the xml files for Joom!Fish support, but the url to author page does not work. So I've made the xml files and you can get it in the attachment.

I hope I helped you someway.

Mark
Attached Files
File Type: zip ionFiles_3.4_XML_for_JoomFish.zip (1.2 KB, 2 views)
File Type: php italian.php (4.8 KB, 1 views)

Default Real file permissions

I like ionfiles in concept, but I think I may have a problem. My whole purpose for using it was to restrict access to a small group of files to only registered Joomla users. IonFiles seems to do all of its permissions validation on the display pages (not showing files if you don't have rights). BUT, if you happen to be given a direct download link to a file, you can get it even if you are not registered! The download code does not do any permission checking that I can see.

Am I wrong (and possibly drunk) or does this kinda defeat the purpose of the security access options?

Thanks,
Bryan

The ionFiles version 1.5 version is almost finished. It will work on both Joomla 1.xx and 1.5. I need beta testers. Is anyone interested?

Yes, this is true and the reason is that including the Joomla classes (global.php) causes headers to be sent. These headers actually corrupt downloads and cause files to become corrupt.

I've attached 4.0 Beta to the first post in this thread. Please let me know of any errors you find.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=', expecting ')' in /XXXX/XXX/administrator/components/com_ionfiles/admin.ionfiles.html.php on line 286

Installation went smooth but i cannot access any of the configuration of ionfiles with this same error.

Using joomla 1.5.1 and the 4.0 beta1.

As of now, ionFiles doesn't work in Legacy mode. I'm still working on that, hopefully I'll have Beta 2 release this week.
