ionFiles Updated to version 4.0

4.0 now works with Legacy Mode, Joomla 1.5 and 1.xx series.

Default Re: Project: ionFiles - Joomla Simple File Download

Just installed this new version on Joomla! 1.5.1

Appears to install just fine but when ever I go to any type of configuration, category setup, or any other ionfiles menu all I get is a blank white screen.

Any ideas here.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall already. Same issue.

Thanks

Hey robspcs, I've just fixed the bug and uploaded version 4.1. Once you install it let me know if you have any problems.

All seems to be good. Installed and managed to get into the config screens. Have not fully tested yet. I will inform you if I find any more issues.

Thanks for the quick reply.

*Request*
Is there any way to have only certain categories display on individual pages, or only allow specific user types to view specific files?

Hey great job. Truly a great addition to Joomla. I do hav eone idea for it though. You know where you type in the app location and then on the downloads page it has a link labeled "more". Is there anyway to make it so you can choose the word that displays for each download. Like maybe the word DEMO or something? Just an idea I had.

Thanks again for this.

I was actually thinking about making all words changeable this morning meaning you would be able to select the text for it. It may make it in the next release....

Right now you can edit the language files to change the labels.
