Thanks for your work on ionfiles. I have the latest version 3.2 (joomla ver 1.13) and it works fine for everything except when I try to download .mp3 files, it just wants to play the music instead of downloading. I have tried it with the link button on and with it off. If I make it a .zip file, works great every time. This is used at my church site and most of the people that will download (sermons) will not know how to un-zip the files. My host is using a linux server (siteground.com) and I have had no problems with them.

What is the URL for your ionFiles installation?

pulaskicog.org - Home look under Sermon Downloads. There will be 2 sermons. looks like downloads a blank file 0kb. I have it working on another site with an older version (1.5 I think). What should the permissions be for the dir I have the files stored in?

I installed version 3.4 today, then setup to downlad a pdf file. The downloaded file created has 0kb, the file on the server has 26.6kb.
I am able to switch off download, and the file correctly opens in the browser.

It seems as though the earlier pdf problem may have krept back, or maybe its just me?

Any ideas?

I do experiance the same since the very first release. I have never been able to download a PDF dokument larger than 0 kb.

ionFiles though does open the PDF document if configured as a link.

But I have no idea for the reason.
So let's hope Jordan one day finds out ...
