Hi Jordan, the link to the website is Regionale Entwicklung Ostkreis
You need to logon as a registered user to get to the download menu item. Just use username : tester and passwort test if you like to have a look into. Thanks!

I also got that message after installation when I opened that menu the first time - after having defined my first category the message did not show up again so I guess you can forget about it.

I see what the problem is and will release a patch very soon.

You have error reporting on in your php.ini file. I need to disable this in the script so errors such as these don't appear. Thanks for the reports! I'll release a quick patch this afternoon.

There is no "select option" on the Downloads overview page - just the file info as entered within the ionFiles component.

Perhaps it can't find the file in it's location - or isn't allowed to access it?

A litte doc on ionFiles may be a good idea - even it's small and simple - users like me might have problems like this too.

It seems there is some bugs in the newest version.
Where can I download the previous stable version ?

I can not replicate this error so I can not fix it. Everything works well for me. Tell me what you have done to create this problem - step by step.

I am a little lost. In previous post, you said you saw the problem and will release a quick patch to it. But now you say you can't reproduce the problem.

When you click the file, it shows 'no file selected'. But I am quite sure all configuration is fine, specially the link to the file is correct.

Could you help to check what would the possible cause ?

What I do is very simple and straight forward.

1. download ionfiles component from here.
2. install it in joomla by component installer
3. then i go to 'manage categories' and click 'New', then I get warning msg.

4. I create a category and save it.
5. I go to 'manage files', click new, input all necessary parameters and save it.
6. I create a menu item 'test' to link to the component.
7. I click test in front end and click the file to download and got error message :

no file selected.

Could anyone help me ? I really don't know what is the problem.

I thought I saw the problem but when I started testing everything worked fine on my machine(s). Could one of you setup a test administer account for me and PM me the info please?
