If you already have the version that Robert Moss released then I recommend just overwritting your files. If not, you will need to do an uninstall/reinstall but you will loose all of your settings and files if you do this. To get around this you can remove the <query> sections in the uninstall section of ionfiles.xml.

Default Litte Issue on ionFiles

Hi! I just installed the newest version of ionFiles - all worked fine so far. I even can already see the 1 testfile, a PDF, I offer for public download. But if I try to download I get onto a white screen telling (in German!) "no file selected".
What mistake did I do?

There is no "select option" on the Downloads overview page - just the file info as entered within the ionFiles component.

Perhaps it can't find the file in it's location - or isn't allowed to access it?

Hints and Help would highly be appreciated.

A litte doc on ionFiles may be a good idea - even it's small and simple - users like me might have problems like this too.

@davonet - Once I get back to date with the status of IonFiles, I will make up some documentation for it.

[Update]
Nearly done.
p.s Going through it, when you go Components->IonFiles, all of the headers ( on the top of the browser, which fits in the <title></title> tag, all show IonFiels.
p.s copyright on the bottom of the site should be changed to 2007 from 2006

First draft:
IonFiles

Nice job TkTech - looks very nice!

I'll fix my little typo (ionFiels) by the next release. Thanks for catching it.

Did you overwrite the files or do a new installation?
