I know this is reviving an old topic which is generally frowned upon, but I just wanted to know, is learning from an e-Book just as good, worse, or better than from an actual (paper) book? :}

It depends on 1) the eBook and 2) how you take in information best.
Personally, I've had success with both. I'm partial to paper, but love being able to copy/paste code from an eBook.

One will have the edge, but which one it is varies from person to person.
Have anyone ever read "C++ from the ground up"? Is it a good book to learn?
I personally really liked Bjarne Stroustrup books. If you like to read and get your hands dirty as such.
