Just posted about this in another topic so thought it could be added to the list:
Mono Project
Mono is a cross-platform implementation of C# that is compatible with .NET binaries. Useful for if you want to use C# but not Windows.
It's important to be aware that Mono is compatible with .NET 2.0, not .NET 3.0 or 3.5. Microsoft has (as usual) extended .NET well beyond the ECMA standard.
I am not much into reading, but somehow I got to read nice information on your site. Simple to understand and helpful. We will look forward for your future updates.
Thanks

is book "MCAD-MCSD.NET Developing and implementing windows based application with MVC s" good material for practicing and learning to work with graphic interfaces???
I read a book once called "About Face" ISBN: 1-56884-322-4
to be particularly good for User Interface Design.
But you might mean actually programming them, this book talks about about building helpful easy to interact with programs, more so than actually programming them. I guess the two are different topics entirely.
any good books for wpf and silverlight for begginers???
