Moved to the lounge, since it doesn't seem to have anything to do with C# Programming. When you say topic, what criteria must you follow? Are you writing a paper about a project or actually doing a project? Can we have more details, please?

we want to do a project.but we are not getting a good topic.we need a advanced topic to do the project in .NET.

there is no any criteria but it should not be the web based project.currently i did .NET course.it is better if it is in c#.
we dont have any problem with database.

Your biggest challenge is likely to be doing a project that isn't TOO advanced or too big to do in the time available.

Create an alaysis application of population in an area and cell phone sales for a fictitious company. You can get zipcode databases on the internet that has demographic and population information. Download a database from a year ago and a current one. If the population increased then show an increase in sales, likewise for the decrease. This will also lend itself to be portable to any other industry that has sales in a specific area or region.
