    dial-up modem triggering

I have this hardware device that can dial phones and a pre-programmed number. thing is, it has a standard phone connection meaning i have to use my dial-up modem as a means to send and receive data.

now, what i want to ask is if there's a way that i can program a form that can listen to my modem for incoming data. handshaking is not necessarily needed since all i want my dial-up modem to do is listen.

    thanks in advance.

    Re: dial-up modem triggering

I'm not so sure a normal dial-up modem will be able to function like that. Sorry.

If you can keep your head while all around you are losing theirs, you probably have a CD writer on your desktop
