What is the best language? I started with C. Did I make a good choice?

I think you made a good choice too. C is not as heavy as C++, so it can be easier to learn.

It depends entirely on what you want to do. C is an excellent language. Linux and most device drivers are written in it. C++ has more flexibility/power, but with that comes additional complexity. MS software and many games are written in C++. For transitional purposes, realize that while most C programs are valid C++, they generally aren't "good" C++.

Yes, Winged Panther. However, the computer programming language C++ is providing more functionality, the computer programming paradigm of object-orientation and consecutively permits the generic style of computer programming.
