Project Help - A few Questions

Hi, I'm new around here. I have a project due in a couple of days and quite frankly I have no idea how to plan it out or even start it.

I am planning to make a version of pictionary (user draw pictures, other users have to guess what the picture is, etc. - something like isketch.net) that will work over networks.

I am planning on using Glade to help with creating the applet windows and the drawing area. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with the basics of Glade.

I'd also appreciate some help with planning the project. Tell me how you would do it. (I don't mean specific code, but more of how you would divide it into different functions, different files, etc.)

Have you considered Cairo for the drawing and other image processing? In my opinion it's a really nice graphics library. If I remember correct, this tutorial is really good.

Is there any program like Glade for it?

The reason I'm asking is because Glade auto-generates the code for you. The class I took didn't really focus on graphical stuff, so I don't have much experience with widgets and other stuff like that.

I don't know. I've never used such program. You could check Glade, it may have it. Cairo is used for a lot of the graphics on Linux.
