How To Make A C++ Rootkit

Hello All,

I was going to make a simple Rootkit using C++. It would just be a program for making a backdoor in a system and being able to add a password that would allow access to the system again later.

Please note, not for malicious purposes, it's for a test. Any ideas on how to make backdoors would be great also code would be too.

What operating system? You might find an answer (and tutorials) on rootkit.com.

I was thinking of using Windows Vista or Windows 7. Something widely used.
