Hello everyone, I am a graduate student.
Because of my thesis, I hope you might help me fill out the questionnaire.
You may get it at Questionnaire--Ideas from Online Innovators and Social Capital via Online Communities (Generated by rformSurvey)
I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you very much...
I looked at the first four questions on your survey, and was not able to meaningfully answer them. First, my programming discussions are normally with my coworkers, not friends (though I think of many of them as friends). Second, in that environment, communication is far more collaborative than unidirectional. Given that these questions are marked with stars, I'm assuming they are required. Despite that, the premise behind them makes it very hard for me to answer any of them.
Thanks for your reply. As for your question, first, in this situation, you may think your coworkers as your friends, cause besides coworkers, you should also be friends in other situations; here, friends should include your coworkers. Second, if the discussion between you and your coworkers(friends) is collaborative, could you answer it with the propotion that you and your friends who give your opinions in your discussion. I do appreciate you reply. If you still have any questions, plz let me know...3Q![]()
Once out of college, most people do NOT have friends that share an interest in their occupation. I don't talk about programming with my friends (outside of those on this forum). As I said before, I can't answer the questions as they are stated, because of the assumptions built into them.
Sorry for making you confused, but if you have any chance to talk about programming to your friends, you may answer this questionnaire based on that. Of course, the questionnaire is built upon the activities in online forum, but the first four questions, you can also extend it to your daily circumstance. Thanks for your reply...
