Notepad++

I never heard Notepad++ before, it seems to be my C++ editor for this years studies. since just got to start C++ this semester..

I'm reading BSc. in Computer Systems and Networking, and I'm in the 2nd year first semester. C++ is coming under a Software Technology I module.. Is that clear to you?

I have tried out both Notepad ++ and Notepad 2, and I found that I liked Notepad 2 better. It seems to conform to the simple style of notepad more than Notepad ++. I find the syntax highlighting very helpful for interpreted languages (primarily HTML), but for compiled languages, just use an IDE.
