Nope, never attempted but I've heard of a lot of people doing it with success. What do you intend on selling? I've heard of people going to local yardsales, getting stuff cheap and then selling for $$$$ on ebay.

dirkFirst, that IS what they do lol. I had a 1970-something slightly worn dresser that we sold at our spring garage sale, and it ended up on ebay 4 days later( i think, might have been 5 ).

I've only bought stuff off ebay, never sold myself. Sold stuff on half.com though, but only books I didn't need.

I would love to but every product i want to sell there are already 50 other people selling it for rock bottom prices.
The competition seems to be too high.

It must have been cool seeing something you owned being sold by someone else. How did you come across that listing, anyway? eBay is pretty big.
