    Exclamation Creating a Buisiness

Ey, I would like to create an online buisiness sometime, but I want to know how to make it official. Do I have to send it to the government or something? Or do I just make it and run it?
I live by Canadian Laws btw.

I am currently willing to do just about anything for $50 on paypal, anyone need odd jobs done?

You can get a lot of information here, and from the net. But my BEST suggestion is to go to a local Court House of some type in your town where you live, and talk to someone there.

Not sure about that in CAN. But in the US, that would be like tax evasion...

It is hard to say in Canada what you can/can't do. Are you selling goods or services?

Depending on how "legal" you want it to be i would go through the normal steps.
    1) get an attorney or some help
    2) create a company (s corp, C corp or llc). do organizational documents like normal.
    3) open up a business account under the new business name
    4) list the corresponding website on all organizational documents
    5) create a payment method using either paypal or something similar, but have everything use the same identification options.
    6) have an accountant in the mix, remember to pay taxes, etc.

thats a start. hope it helps

I do not think that you are required to tell the government as such of the online business you are running. If you are selling websites just on behalf of someone else on commission basis then there is no need to tell it to someone. But make sure that everything is legal in a way that you are not cheating others.

it is not about telling anyone. If you are making money, there are taxes to be paid. so one way or another they will eventually know.
the other thing is liability and insurance. you want to protect yourself from legal action and creating a company can put a layer between you and legal action.
