Help?

Hey guys I'm new here. I got one mind boggling question that's killing me. I have a web idea that I wanna show to the world and I wanna start a business out of it. Problem is, I need a CTO to help me on this journey before I can get funded for the project. By any chance anyone knows how to get the solution to this fast?

I've tried searching up, down, left and right but I can't find someone who can really be on the project and not just a freelancer who just wanna get the job done and get paid and leave. Any suggestions please?

I think the real question is: what do you envision the CTO doing, and how much are you willing to pay? Right now, you may want to BE the CTO/CEO rather than attempt to hire one.

I am on 2 research teams, one which pays me with academic credit, and another that pays me for the work that I preform. Both projects require me to maintain a website / develop it, and I know both of the leaders.

If I had a project, I would get someone that is local that I can meet with to do the work, since it will be much easier for you to explain what you want. Also I would only hire a person to do the work that I can't do myself. Good luck!

Have you tried posting an add online, like on your local craigslist? But yeah, I agree with the advice given, make sure you outline what exactly you would need them to do before considering hiring someone. Also, it would help make you add more effective, if you choose to do that.
